Les nominations pour la 96e édition des Oscars 2024 ont déjà été officiellement annoncées. L’Académie a annoncé la liste complète des nominés dans les 24 catégories qui concourront lors du gala du 10 mars.
Le plus apprécié des nominations est le film acclamé Oppenheimer, qui a obtenu 13 nominations dont celles du meilleur film, de la meilleure bande originale, du meilleur réalisateur pour Christopher Nolan, du meilleur acteur dans un second rôle pour Robert Downey Jr. et de la meilleure actrice dans un second rôle pour Emily Blunt.
Un autre grand prétendant est Poor Things, la nouvelle collaboration de Yorgos Lanthimos et Enma Stone avec 11 nominations. Il est suivi par Killers of the Flower Moon de Martin Scorsese avec 10 nominations, qui met en vedette Robert De Niro, également en lice pour l’Oscar du meilleur acteur.
Sont également en compétition pour le meilleur film American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, Barbie, Past Lives, The Holdovers, The Zone of Interest et Master.
